Deregistration of Strong Independents
The political party ‘Strong Independents’ has been removed from the ACT’s register of political parties, ACT Electoral Commissioner, Mr Damian Cantwell AM CSC, announced today, 15 November 2024.
“Strong Independents originally applied to register as a political party in the ACT on 14 May 2024, prior to the cut-off for the 2024 ACT Legislative Assembly election. The party was officially registered on 4 June 2024. The registration has been cancelled at the request of the party.” Mr Cantwell said.
