1 February 2025
Financial disclosure returns for ACT political parties, non-party candidates, third-party campaigners, associated entities, broadcasters and publishers for the 2024 ACT Legislative Assembly election were released today by the ACT Electoral Commissioner.
“The returns show details of electoral expenditure incurred by election participants during the 2024 ACT election campaign. For non-party candidates and third-party campaigners, the returns also show details of gifts received by those entities,” Mr Damian Cantwell AM CSC said today.
Details of expenditure incurred by candidates endorsed by a registered political party are detailed in the return of the relevant political party.
“The returns published on the website today reflect the figures submitted by the entities and are yet to undergo compliance or accuracy checks by the Electoral Commission,” Mr Cantwell said.
The returns can be inspected on the ACT Electoral Commission’s website from today, Saturday, 1 February.
