2024/2025 ACT financial disclosure returns available from 7 September 2025
The ACT Electoral Commissioner, Mr Damian Cantwell AM CSC, today announced that financial disclosure returns for ACT political parties, Members of the Legislative Assembly, and associated entities for the 2024/2025 financial year will be available for public inspection from 7 September 2025.
‘These returns provide details of receipts, gifts, payments, and debts reported by political participants in the ACT during the last financial year,’ Mr Cantwell said. ‘They include information relevant to the electoral expenditure cap for the October 2024 ACT Legislative Assembly election, covering the period from 1 July 2024.’
Mr Cantwell noted that the returns, which will be published on the Commission’s website, reflect figures submitted by political entities and have not yet been subject to compliance or accuracy checks by the ACT Electoral Commission.
The financial disclosure returns will be accessible on the ACT Electoral Commission’s website at www.elections.act.gov.au from 7 September 2025.
