Small Business Australian Capital Territory registration cancelled in the ACT

Small Business Australian Capital Territory has been removed from the ACT’s register of political parties, ACT Electoral Commissioner, Mr Damian Cantwell AM CSC, has announced.

The registration was cancelled on the grounds that the party did not have at least 100 members who are ACT electors.

Twelve parties remain registered in the ACT.

They are:

  • Animal Justice Party
  • Australian Labor Party (ACT Branch)
  • Belco Party (ACT)
  • Canberra Progressives
  • David Pollard Independent
  • Democratic Labour Party (DLP)
  • Liberal Democratic Party
  • Liberal Party of Australia (A.C.T. Division)
  • Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party (ACT)
  • Sustainable Australia Party – Stop Overdevelopment / Corruption
  • The ACT Greens
  • The Community Action Party (ACT)
