The ACT electoral roll is maintained by the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) and enrolment provisions for the ACT are essentially the same as for Commonwealth elections.

Change of Address and Electoral Enrolment

The electoral roll for the 15 October 2016 ACT election is now closed.

It is now too late to enrol for the first time or to update your enrolment details for the 2016 ACT election.  If you are still on the roll for your old address and that address is in the ACT then you must vote for that address. You can cast your vote at any polling place in the ACT.

If you have not yet enrolled or updated your enrolment details such as name or address you can still do so however it will not take effect until after the 15 October ACT election. You can do this online at the link below.
