Australian Climate Change Justice Party registration cancelled in the ACT

The Australian Climate Change Justice Party has been removed from the ACT’s register of political parties, ACT Electoral Commissioner, Mr Damian Cantwell AM CSC, has announced.

The registration was cancelled on the grounds that the party did not have at least 100 members who are ACT electors.

Thirteen parties remain registered in the ACT.

They are:

  • Animal Justice Party
  • Australian Labor Party (ACT Branch)
  • Belco Party (ACT)
  • Canberra Progressives
  • David Pollard Independent
  • Democratic Labour Party (DLP)
  • Liberal Democratic Party
  • Liberal Party of Australia (A.C.T. Division)
  • Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party (ACT)
  • Small Business Australian Capital Territory
  • Sustainable Australia Party – Stop Overdevelopment / Corruption
  • The ACT Greens
  • The Community Action Party (ACT)
