The event provides an opportunity for the ACT community to learn more about the candidates, their passions and what they intend to implement and champion if elected. Each candidate will be given three minutes to share their vision for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in the ACT.

The event will be held from 5.30pm (for a 6pm start) until 8.30pm at the Yarramundi Cultural Centre, 245 Lady Denman Drive, Yarramundi Reach ACT 2601. This event is open to members of the public and the media. Attendees are requested to RSVP via this link: https://tinyurl.com/vzssbda8.

Its members represent the interests and aspirations of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.  It provides direct advice to the ACT Government with the ambition of improving the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Canberrans.

Voting in the election will coincide with NAIDOC week celebrations in the ACT.  Voting will commence on Saturday 3 July and continue until Saturday 10 July 2021 at several venues across Canberra.
