The ACT Electoral Commissioner, Mr Phil Green, will officially declare the result of the 16 October Legislative Assembly election on Friday 29 October.

The declaration will take place in the Reception Room on the ground floor of the Legislative Assembly, commencing at 12:30 pm, and will be open to candidates, the media and the general public. Party leaders will be invited to say a few words if they wish.
