Pre-poll voting centres

Any person who is unable to attend a polling place on election day may vote at a pre-poll voting centre. All pre-poll voting centres will offer the option of voting by computer or paper. If you cannot get to a pre-poll voting centre you may apply for a postal vote (postal vote applications will be available from this site shortly before the next election).

Opening times and addresses of pre-poll voting centres will be available from this site shortly before the next election.

Voting interstate

Voting is available during the pre-election period during normal business hours at each State and Northern Territory electoral office (NOT Australian Electoral Commission offices). Voting is NOT available at any of these centres on election day.

Addresses of interstate voting centres will be available from this site shortly before the next election.

Election day polling places

All polling places on election day are open from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm. Voters may vote at any polling place in the ACT, regardless of the electorate you are enrolled in.

Addresses of polling places will be available from this site shortly before the next election.
