Canberra Community Voters applies to register as a political party for ACT Legislative Assembly elections

Canberra Community Voters has submitted an application to register as a political party in the ACT, the ACT Electoral Commissioner, Mr Phillip Green, said today.

“Members of the public are entitled to object to an application for party registration if they consider that the party is not eligible to be registered,” Mr Green said.  

Anyone wishing to object to the registration may lodge a written objection with the Electoral Commissioner by 19 July 2016.

A copy of the application and the constitution of the party are available for public inspection at the office of the Commissioner between 9.00am and 5.00pm on business days.
