Four days left before the ACT electoral roll closes

Rolls for the 18 October ACT Legislative Assembly election close on Friday 19 September.

“ACT residents have just four more days to make sure that they are correctly enrolled for next month’s Legislative Assembly election,” the ACT Electoral Commissioner Mr Phil Green said.

“Time is running out to enrol. If you have recently turned 18 or you are 17 and will turn 18 on or before polling day you can enrol now. If you have changed address and haven’t updated your enrolment, please do it now,” Mr Green said.

Enrolment forms can be picked up from post offices, Canberra Connect Shopfronts and electoral offices, or can be printed from the Electoral Commission’s website. Anyone wanting to check if their enrolment is up-to-date can ring the Elections ACT enquiry number, 6205 0033.

Completed enrolment forms can be lodged until 5 pm on 19 September at Canberra Connect shopfronts and until 8 pm at the Elections ACT office in Griffith or the Australian Electoral Commission office in Hobart Place in the City.
