ACT Legislative Assembly 2003 Redistribution - Public hearing regarding the proposed redistribution

The Augmented Electoral Commission for the Australian Capital Territory is holding a public hearing regarding the Redistribution Committee's proposed ACT electoral boundaries in preparation for the 2004 ACT Legislative Assembly election.

The public hearing will be held at the ACT Legislative Assembly reception room on Tuesday 2 September 2003 commencing at 2:00 pm.

At the public hearing, submissions to the augmented commission may only be made-

  1. by or on behalf of a person who made–
    1. an objection to the Redistribution Committee's proposal; or
    2. a suggestion or comment about the electoral boundaries given to the Redistribution Committee; or
  2. (b) by a person making a submission in relation to an objection.
