Enrol to vote or update your details
All Australian citizens 18 and over are required by law to enrol and vote.
You can enrol if you are 16 or over but you can't vote until you turn 18.
Every time you move or change your name you need to update your details on the roll.
Go to the AEC site to enrol or to change your details.
During the 2015 Redistribution process, an online mapping tool was made available to those individuals or organisations wishing to make a public submission. The interactive tool allowed users to group ACT suburbs into proposed electorates, and using the enrolment figures for each suburb, provided information on the user's selections against the defined enrolment requirements in compliance with the Electoral Act. Public submissions are no longer able to be made in relation to the 2015 redistribution process, however Elections ACT has continued to make the online mapping tool available as a demonstration of the process.
