Social Media – Guidelines

Elections ACT staff may choose to ‘Like’ accounts on Facebook that are involved with, relevant to, or actively discussing Australian electoral issues. Being liked by Elections ACT on Facebook does not imply endorsement of any kind. Organisations that follow Elections ACT on Facebook will not automatically be followed or liked back.

Facebook is a public space on the internet and most interactions are publicly viewable and searchable over time. Links to external websites and Facebook profiles are provided as a convenience to users and such sites and associated content are not under the control of Elections ACT. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement of that website, service or person by Elections ACT. Elections ACT is not responsible for the content or reliability of links, or for any loss or inconvenience arising from their use.
